Light one candle
Deck the halls
Mark the solstice
One and all

Our global family
has gathered near
In celebration
let us cheer

Just two degrees
Is all we’ll allow
With every nation’s
solemn vow

To bless the Earth
as here we are
at the end of the hottest
year so far

So spread Good Tidings
to all you meet
Tis the season
of hope…and heat
